Victoria Inn, Victoria PEI

Victoria Inn bed and breakfast
Victoria is a wonderful small town with a main street that runs through town with a few shops, restaurants and ends at the wharf. Kids ride around town on their bikes and tourists from the local area come and go so the place is bustling until early evening.
The bed and breakfast is situated on a side street and is an old Victorian, it’s fairly well taken care of but could use some work. The stairs leading to the second floor have a sentence written on them but I can’t remember what it said. It was in Old English. Our suite on the second floor had three small rooms with wood floors. The first was a room with a couch and side table with the coffee machine on it. To the left was a queen bedroom which held just the bed, a dresser, an old chair and two tiny tables. The doors were French doors with windows and light curtains, so not much privacy between the two. The third room had two twin beds with plaid bedspreads which was great for the boys. This room also had an air conditioner which was badly needed because the room got warm and humid in the evenings. The air did cool all three rooms if the rooms were left open and you weren’t expecting too much coolness. The bathroom was large with a claw foot tub, toilet and sink and small antique water table.
Like most Bed and breakfasts, the people did not introduce themselves or tell us about the place so we didn’t know if we were allowed to use the downstairs rooms. There was a tv room and game room downstairs which people were using so we probably could have.
